Piano Lessons
CLASSICAL MUSIC - NYSSMA PREPARATION - PLAY ON A GRAND PIANO
I teach students ranging in age from 5 through adult.
Lessons take place in my music studio located in Tuckahoe, NY.
Piano lessons consist of warm up exercises, scales, chords and chosen
method book or select pieces appropriate for your level. There are many
great method books in the piano literature to choose from; I select one
that I feel the student would really benefit from and enjoy. Some areas
that I like to focus on in the lesson are correct playing posture, hand
and wrist position, musicality, theory, ear training, and reading music.
Students should feel comfortable in their lessons and feel free to express themselves. I am flexible to any concerns that you may have and committed to making the lessons
an enjoyable experience.
